HireOtto is a remote MCP server, so connecting it to your AI tool is a matter of adding a small JSON configuration block — there is nothing to install locally. Pick your tool below, paste the config, restart the application, and you are ready to manage Google Ads in plain language.
Claude Web makes it super easy to add a custom connector.
1

Open the connectors page

Head over to:
You’ll see a ’+’ icon → Add custom connector.
Free plan allows only one custom connector.
2

Add the HireOtto server url

Paste the following url. Give it a friendly name like HireOtto – Google Ads MCP and click Add.
3

Click connect

A Google sign‑in window opens. This is a quick handshake so the server can recognize your workspace. Approve the prompt. You’ll see “Successfully connected” in Claude (blue banner). That confirms HireOtto is reachable as a remote MCP server.
4

Ask Claude to connect Google Ads (one time action)

Try a plain-English prompt like “Connect Google Ads” or “Authenticate Google Ads.”Claude will return a link - open it and grant access. During this step you’ll also be asked to select which Google Ads accounts HireOtto can access. When the auth page says you’re done, close that window and return to Claude.HireOtto is now fully set up.
5

Sanity check (optional)

Open a new conversation in Claude and type:
or
Claude should respond with a list of your accounts or campaigns.

Optional: Connect Google Search Console

If you want to analyze organic search data, connect Google Search Console separately. In your AI assistant, ask:
HireOtto will return an authentication link. Open it, choose the Google account that has access to your Search Console properties, and approve access. Then verify the connection:
For examples and reporting workflows, see Google Search Console MCP reporting.

Next steps

Once your AI tool shows a list of accounts or campaigns after the verification prompt, your connection is working. And once HireOtto is connected, you can use these guides to run real Google Ads workflows: If setup fails, go to Troubleshooting.
